Monty Python’s Terry Jones dies

The actor and comedian Terry Jones has “gently slipped away” after living with dementia for five years. The director of The Life of Brian and member of the Monty Python comedy troupe was fondly remembered for his part in revolutionising British comedy in the 70s. Fellow Python Sir Michael Palin today said he felt “very fortunate to have shared so much of my life with him”.
