Met Office warns of ‘danger to life’ as South Yorkshire braces for more heavy rain

Boris Johnson has called a meeting of the government’s emergency committee – as more heavy rain is expected in flood-affected areas of England. In parts of South Yorkshire and the East Midlands – which have already been badly hit – the Met Office said there could be a possible danger to life.
