Medicinal cannabis: ‘I’ve tried everything humanly possible to get this legally’

When the Home Secretary announced that medicinal cannabis could be legally prescribed, it was celebrated by those who had been trying for years to access it.

But many of those have been left frustrated to find they can’t get it through the NHS, leading campaigners and practitioners to say the whole process was rushed through without due thought of how it would work in practice.
