May takes charge of Brexit negotiations

Theresa May has confirmed she’s taking personal charge of the Brexit negotiations with the EU, with her newly-appointed Brexit Secretary Dominic Raab serving as deputy. Mr Raab dismissed Labour claims he’d been sidelined, describing it as a “shifting of the Whitehall deckchairs”. The government has left it until the very last moments of the parliamentary session to publish its white paper on life after the EU.
