Maternity Scandal: Midwife who led Shrewsbury probe will now chair Nottingham review

A review of failings in maternity services at Nottingham NHS trust will now be led by senior midwife Donna Ockenden.

Ms Ockenden’s appointment followed a direct appeal to Health Secretary Sajid Javid by families affected by the care given at the trust.

Channel 4 News revealed last year dozens of deaths and cases of harm to mothers and babies at Nottingham.
