Manchester Arena inquiry: MI5 missed chance to prevent attack

The MI5 chief has apologised over the failure to prevent the Manchester Arena attack – after the inquiry into the atrocity found the agency had failed to act on key intelligence received months earlier.

Today was the third and final report into the bombing by Salman Abedi at  the Ariana Grande which killed 22 people and injured hundreds more.
