Maduro accused of risking lives by blocking aid

In Venezuela survival is now a matter of politics. Acute medical shortages are affecting the whole country, but President Nicolas Maduro won’t accept aid from the United States, which has said it plans to oust him from power.

A few trucks of food and medicines are now blocked on the Colombian border.

The opposition leader and self-declared Interim President Juan Guaidó has said Venezuelans will die without it.
