Lawyer for Manchester Airport arrest family accuses police of ‘smear campaign’

A lawyer representing the family at the centre of the viral Manchester Airport arrest video has accused police of launching a deliberate smear campaign against those involved in the incident.

Footage appearing to show 19-year-old Mohammed Fahir Amaaz being kicked and stamped on by an officer sparked protests in Rochdale.
