Lack of snow forces closure of Cairngorms sled-dog centre

It’s a tradition going back centuries, and associated with the coldest places on earth, but a changing climate means dog sledding is sliding into history in this country.

When the winter ends, the Cairngorm Sleddog Centre will close its doors after nearly two decades – and the huskies will have no work.
