Labour leader says he ‘doesn’t want a civil war’ after Corbyn’s suspension

Sir Keir Starmer has said he doesn’t want a civil war in the Labour Party after Jeremy Corbyn was suspended for his response to a damning report into anti-Semitism.

Mr Corbyn claimed anti-Jewish racism had been “dramatically overstated” for political reasons by his opponents.
