Labour conference backs Corbyn in crunch vote on Brexit policy

Today in Brighton, in a passionate debate, Labour tried to hammer out a Brexit policy the party could all, at the least, publicly support, and the voters could, at the least, live with.

It has decided to support a second referendum within six months of a general election, but not which way to campaign or support in that referendum.

It was a huge victory for Jeremy Corbyn, after speaker after speaker called for loyalty to him and to reject remain.
