Labour calls for 2021 GCSE and A-level exams to be delayed

Pupils might be returning to schools in England and Wales this week, but after so long out of the classroom, there are fears of continuing disruption.

Labour has called for next year’s A-level and GCSE exams in England to be pushed back.

It comes as pupils in secondary schools in Scotland and Northern Ireland had to get used to wearing masks in corridors and other communal areas.
