Kim Jong-un calls for ‘livening up’ of relationship with South Korea

North Korea’s leader has called for a “further livening up” of the “warm climate of reconciliation” with the South that appears to have been created at the Winter Olympics.

According to the North Korean state news agency, Kim Jong-un also praised the South for hosting a North Korean delegation at the Pyeongchang Games, where his sister Kim Yo-jong has been leading the charm offensive.

While there has been a warming of relations at the Games, critics warn that North Korea should not be allowed to win a propaganda victory.
