Kevin Spacey under investigation for alleged sexual assault

It’s understood that Scotland Yard is investigating the Hollywood actor Kevin Spacey over an alleged sexual assault in South London nine years ago – although they wouldn’t identify him by name – and he hasn’t been charged with any crime. Theatre has been another industry caught up in the wave of revelations about sexual harassment and it’s prompted calls for a code of practice to prevent routine abuses of power.
