The Wikileaks founder Julian Assange is in custody tonight after being arrested for allegedly breaching his bail conditions.

The Wikileaks founder Julian Assange is in custody tonight after being arrested for allegedly breaching his bail conditions. His seven-year self-imposed exile in London’s Ecuadorean embassy ended dramatically this morning after his asylum was revoked.

Mr Assange also faces possible extradition to the United States in connection with the release of tens of thousands of secret government documents. His supporters are calling it a ‘dark day for journalism.’
