Joe Biden’s personal poll ratings plunge after classified document scandal

Joe Biden says he has no regrets over the mishandling of classified documents during his time as vice president – but it has sent his personal approval rating plunging.

A new poll by Reuters Ipsos, the first since the scandal broke – shows just 40% of Americans approve of Mr Biden’s performance in the job.

All this while he is preparing to announce his intention to run for a second term.
