JK Rowling will not be arrested under new hate crime law, police confirm

Police have confirmed JK Rowling will not be arrested under Scotland’s new hate crime law –  after receiving complaints about some of her social media posts.

The author is a critic of the Scottish Government’s stance on transgender rights and believes the new legislation is open to abuse.
