Jaguar Land Rover issues Brexit jobs warning

The Prime Minister was taken to task over Brexit today by the boss of Britain’s biggest car manufacturer.

Ralf Speth, the CEO of Jaguar Land Rover, said a hard Brexit could costs tens of thousands of jobs in his industry.

Speaking in Birmingham, where the PM was pledging support for zero emission vehicles, he said without the right deal there’d be no guarantee his company’s plants could continue to operate in the UK.

We caught up with him at the event to ask him what a no deal would cost.
