Boris Johnson has defended the Iran Nuclear deal, saying it remains the best way to curb Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

The Foreign Secretary’s statement in Brussels puts him at odds with Donald Trump who said the agreement was “the worst deal ever” and who offered his support to anti-government protests in Iran earlier this month.

So where does all this leave the case of the British-Iranian woman Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe, who has been held in a Tehran prison for nearly two years.
