3mIsraeli forces ramp up attacks in northern Gaza
Forty people have been killed in a strike on a school in Beit Hanoun in the far north of the Gaza strip, according to local civil defence workers.
They say the building was being used as a shelter for displaced Palestinians. But Israel says it killed dozens of Hamas gunmen in its renewed military activity there.
