The ceasefire deal between Hamas and Israel was an achievement Donald Trump claimed before he’d even taken office last week.
Today, Hamas announced the names of the next four hostages it plans to release as part of the agreement – in exchange for Palestinian prisoners.
The hostage, all four of whom are female IDF soldiers, are expected to be handed over on Saturday.
While the fighting in Gaza has halted, Israel has been ramping up its operations in the occupied West Bank this week – particularly in the town of Jenin – described by the IDF chief as a ‘hub of terrorism’.
Though the UN today condemned what they called Israel’s use of ‘unlawful lethal force’.
