Independent investigations to take place in cases of infant deaths

England has one of the highest stillbirth rates in Western Europe and every week the NHS has to settle multi-million pound claims for hospital births that went wrong. Now the government has announced that independent investigations will take place if babies die at birth or shortly after. And the government will also look at changing the law so coroners can hold inquests for full-term stillbirths. Our health and social care correspondent has spoken to a mother whose baby died after a birth that went badly wrong.
