‘I feel like my life doesn’t matter’ – how cost of living crisis is impacting disabled people

Millions of people caught in the squeeze on household incomes will be worrying how to make ends meet, especially those who have little or nothing left to cut back on.

A new report by the charity Scope, shared exclusively with this programme, shows that people with disabilities are being hit the hardest of all.

They are twice as likely to have a cold home and three times as likely to find it hard to pay for food than non-disabled people.
