Hundreds of thousands protest against President Macron’s pension reforms

Hundreds of thousands of people have taken to the streets across France in the twelfth day of protests against President Macron’s unpopular pension reforms – which would raise the minimum retirement age to 64.

A ruling is expected tomorrow on whether the proposals are constitutional.

Some of the protests turned violent as activists clashed with police outside luxury department stores.
