Hundreds more Afghans to settle in UK after working for British military

News Correspondent

Hundreds of Afghans who worked for the British military, mostly as interpreters, are to be allowed to settle in the UK, along with their families.

The government says more than three thousand will be relocated as soon as possible amid fears for their safety as international troops leave the country.

Many Afghans have previously had applications to relocate turned down, leaving them in fear of reprisals by the Taliban for working with British forces.
