Hundreds attend tribute to George Floyd at Minneapolis memorial

The memorial service for George Floyd has just got underway in Minneapolis with hundreds of people attending.

Three former police officers who were charged yesterday over his killing are due to appear in court facing counts of aiding and abetting murder.

One of Mr Floyd’s family lawyers said the service would be a plea to America and a plea for justice that his death should not be in vain.
