How Trump sexual abuse verdict threatens re-election bid

Donald Trump has said he will appeal after becoming the first former US president to be branded a sexual abuser in court.

A Manhattan jury found that he was liable for five million dollars in damages for sexually abusing and defaming columnist E Jean Carroll. She is one of more than a dozen women who have accused Donald Trump of sexual misconduct over the years.

But will it impact the chances of winning the race to become President in 2024?
