How Opioid abuse is killing America

America’s addiction to opioids is so great that in October President Donald Trump declared a National Health Emergency. And the statistics are grim with hundreds of people losing their lives to overdoses every week. The problem is particularly acute in the US territory of Puerto Rico, where people are still trying to get back on their feet after the devastation caused by Hurricane Maria in September.
