How climate crisis is threatening the world’s food supply

The changes in our climate are affecting the ability of the land we live on to sustain human life.

That’s the stark warning from a major UN report, which shows that a cascading series of risks will become increasingly severe as the climate heats up.

But the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report does offer some hope – arguing that climate crisis can be averted, but not without fundamental change.

Our Chief Correspondent Alex Thomson joins us from Greenland where recent record temperatures saw over ten billion tonnes of ice melt in a single day last week.
