Home Secretary apologises to family of Windrush migrant

The Home Secretary has apologised unreservedly to the family of a Windrush migrant and has offered to meet them. This programme has seen Sajid Javid’s letter on the day an inquest opened into Dexter Bristol’s death. He came to Britain from Grenada as a child in the 1960s. But he died jobless and fearing deportation, because he didn’t have a valid passport.
