Home Secretary apologises to family of Windrush migrant

Senior Home Affairs Correspondent

The Home Secretary has apologised unreservedly to the family of a Windrush migrant and has offered to meet them. But he died jobless and fearing deportation, because he didn’t have a valid passport.
