More women, Muslims, Latinos and African-Americans: the 116th US congress being sworn in right now is more diverse than ever before.

Ten new senators and 100 new House representatives include the first Native American and Muslim congresswomen. And the Democrats – new and old – take control of the House with one unifying purpose: to block President Trump’s border wall.
