Hillsborough jury hear of ‘scene of horror’ at fatal crush

The jury in the trial of Hillsborough match commander David Duckenfield has heard of the “scene of horror” in the pens where the fatal crush happened.

Duckenfield denies the gross negligence manslaughter of 95 Liverpool fans, while the former Sheffield Wednesday club secretary Graham Mackrell has also denied health and safety offences.

His defence team also opened their case today.
