Hillsborough families condemn Duckenfield trial verdict

The families of Hillsborough victims have branded the trial of match commander David Duckenfield a disgrace after he was cleared of charges of manslaughter by gross negligence.

Relatives have spent decades fighting for justice, but they say no-one has now been held accountable for the deaths of 96 people in the disaster in 1989, describing it as “a shame on this country”.
