Gunmen storm Nairobi hotel complex

Gunmen have blasted their way into a hotel and office complex in the Kenyan capital Nairobi.

There are reports of at least seven deaths, but no official confirmation yet.

Witnesses said two cars were driven at speed into the complex at around 3pm after shots were fired at security guards at its gates.

The Somali Islamist group Al-Shabaab has said it carried out the attack.
