Recent calls for a national inquiry into child grooming have been met by a government plan for a nationwide review of grooming gang evidence and five government-backed local inquiries.
An earlier review in Bradford found that children “remain unprotected” from grooming and abuse, and the council now says that an additional inquiry is “unlikely to provide them with any new learning”.
But survivors of grooming in the city say they are still waiting for answers.
