Greta Gerwig on Lady Bird and women in film

Greta Gerwig’s directorial debut has already made her an Oscar contender.

Her new film Lady Bird, a coming-of-age story set in her home town of Sacramento, California has been universally acclaimed, with five Academy Awards nominations, including Gerwig as best director.
