Grenfell Tower interim inquiry could be out ‘within a year’

The retired Appeal court judge who’s leading the investigation into the Grenfell Tower fire has admitted the scope may not be broad enough to satisfy everyone. Sir Martin Moore-Bick visited the site of the disaster today to meet some of the survivors – saying he hoped an interim report could be published within a year. But local campaigners say they want the inquiry to include why the fire started in the first place – and whether residents’ concerns were ignored.
