Grenfell: May ‘minded’ to ban flammable cladding on high-rise buildings

Theresa May says she is minded to ban flammable cladding on high-rise buildings in the wake of the Grenfell fire. The Prime Minister told MPs that she intends to go further than the conclusions of a government review on building regulations.

Her comments came as tributes continued to be paid to Grenfell’s 72 victims on day three of the public inquiry into the blaze.
