Greater Manchester promises a bed for every rough sleeper

The problem of people sleeping rough on our streets is a growing one across the UK.

There is no legal requirement to give rough sleepers a bed. But in Greater Manchester – from tonight – there’ll be hundreds of extra beds all winter.
