Government’s latest plan to tackle migrant boat crossings branded “unworkable”

Government plans to crack down on people arriving in the UK on small boats are unworkable and will leave thousands of migrants in limbo, according to campaigners.

Rishi Sunak is due to unveil details of the new legislation tomorrow  including removing Channel migrants from the UK and imposing a lifetime ban on re-entering the country or applying for British citizenship.

But so far there are few details explaining how the new laws will be implemented.
