Government making ‘steady progress’ on deporting migrants to Rwanda, Home Secretary says

The Home Secretary has insisted the Government is making “steady progress” on deporting migrants to Rwanda if they arrive in the UK illegally – although she couldn’t give any details on when the first deportation flights might begin.

Suella Braverman also faced questions over the long delays for travellers heading to Europe from Dover – denying it was anything to do with Brexit.
