Ghana blast: At least 13 dead as truck carrying mining explosives crashes

At least 13 people have been killed after a massive explosion in western Ghana which went off after a truck carrying mining explosives crashed into a motorbike.

Local officials near the city of Bogoso said at least 500 buildings had been destroyed.

Emergency services scrambled to rescue people trapped under the rubble.
