More than forty thousand people have been taking part in the hottest London Marathon on record. Sir Mo Farah finished third in the men’s race setting a new British record, while David Weir claimed his eighth title in the men’s wheelchair race. Despite warnings about the heat many still chose to run the 26 miles in fancy dress. Jack Tayler reports.
