Former Culture Secretary John Whittingdale on diplomatic leaks: ‘The media have not committed a crime’

The former Culture Secretary John Whittingdale has just launched an all party parliamentary group on Press Freedom in the UK.

He’s at  tonight’s Conservative party leadership hustings in Colchester and I asked him for his response to the Met’s advice to the media today.
