For former felons in Florida, this election is a milestone. Many of them are casting ballots for the very first time, after the state overwhelmingly passed Amendment 4, restoring their voting rights.
America has a long history of disenfranchisement of former felons, a population that is disproportionately Black.
This year many are making their voices heard despite further legal obstacles being put in their way.
