Facebook apologises to users in UK and US newspaper adverts

Facebook is attempting to put a disastrous week behind it by apologising for its part in the data harvesting scandal  The social media giant has taken out full page advertisements in almost a dozen major US and UK newspapers.

But it’s a different experience on the ground outside Facebooks headquarters in California as our Business Editor Siobhan Kennedy has been finding out.
