Extinction Rebellion: Protesteres climb bid to shut down London airport as arrests pass 1,000

Protestors from the Extinction Rebellion environmental group have turned their attention to air travel today.  They say it’s the beginning of a three-day ‘Hong-Kong style’ protest at London City Airport. They picketed just outside the terminal and even climbed on top of a plane. But airport authorities say it’s largely been business as usual, as Fatima Manji reports.
