Ex-minister Tracey Crouch has ‘no regrets’ after resigning over betting

She’s received backing from the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Daily Mail, Labour MPs and some prominent Conservative Brexiteers.

Tracey Crouch says she has “absolutely no regrets” about her decision to resign as sports minister.

Ms Crouch quit the government over a delay in the introduction of a cut in the maximum stake that can be made using fixed-odds betting terminals.

There are reports that some Conservative MPs could now rebel over the issue.
