Disinfectant firms warn people to not use products in human body after Trump virus treatment comments

Disinfectant manufacturers have warned people not to use their products on the human body after Donald Trump suggested they could be used to treat virus patients.

The makers of Dettol and Cillit Bang said the products must not be used via “injection, ingestion or any other route”.

The US President also floated the possibility of infected people being treated with ultraviolet light.
