Delegates at UN climate change conference yet to reach agreement

Chief Correspondent

The UN climate conference in Poland has been billed as the most important summit on global climate change since the 2015 Paris deal.

It opened last week with dire warnings from the TV naturalist David Attenborough, who said a lack of action could lead to the collapse of civilisation.

But, with just hours left before the scheduled end of the summit, the nearly 200 countries present have yet to reach an agreement.
